Inspinity [ Case Studies - Accounts Reconciliation with Digitization ]

Client Requirement:
The client found a large misappropriation of receipts and payments and wanted reconcile them against its accounting department’s records before the tax deadline.

It sent Inspinity the scanned images of all bank statements and checks so the team could code the values and descriptions in the same format as the client's database.

Challenges:

Difficulty deciphering handwritten numbers and descriptions on the checks

Upholding accuracy while delivering against a tight deadline

Inspinity's Role:
Inspinity manually coded the required information into the respective fields in the same format as the client's database.

Additionally, Inspinity team members followed a dual coding process, (where the same fields were coded by two team members, then reviewed by Senior Process Associates) to uphold the highest accuracy rate.

Outcome:
The client received the coded information and was able to locate the missing checks, identify payment differences and file its tax return on-time.
